TO THE GHS ORCHESTRAS WEBSITE!
The 2012-2013 Honors Orchestra Congratulations
to the members of the 2012-2013 Garland High School Honors String Orchestra. A special thanks to everyone who submitted an
audition. Thank you also for your patience as I finished listening, marking the
scores and making the final decisions. It took much longer this year than I expected. I
realize that there are always some who will be disappointed. Please understand that I don't consider anyone who submitted
an audition a "winner" or a "loser." I rank the performances
and try to make the best decisions possible considering what is best for the ensemble as well as what is best for each individual
player. The names in each section are listed in alphabetical order. The
violins have been divided into two sections and posted as such. Chair
auditions will conducted during the first week of school. Complete results are confidential. Current GHS students who are new to the Honors Orchestra are expected to perform at the GHS Commencement Services:
